Medieval Knight

A unique gift or personal possession to commemorate your ancestral heritage by displaying your Clan Chief's Arms on a Medieval Knight.  Armigers may wish to have their own personal Coat of Arms displayed on the knight with the surcoat painted in their own livery colours.

The crest on this piece is our version of a lion sejant (sitting on its haunches) and holding in its out stretched paws; a heart. The crest was designed to match the inscription on the base of the figure, which reads 'My Heart Is In Scotland'. The Shield & Crest can be personalised with your own choice of insignia. Armigers may wish to have their own personal Coat of Arms & Crest on the bust.

The Clan Crest/Badge is attached to a miniature Targe covered with the relevant clan tartan or leather. The Targe itself is 5 inches in diameter (127 mm) made of wood with a metal rim around the outside and studded. In the case of the painted highlander, the plaid over the left shoulder is also painted in the colours of the clan tartan.

The bronze and marble pieces are produced using a bronze or marble resin, which looks exactly the same as the old traditional cold cast bronze or marble but is very much lighter in weight.

The shield is of metal construction with wood on the reverse and is 5 inches high by 3 inches wide (127 mm x 75 mm). The shield emblem or Coat of Arms is created using a sublimation printing technique. With this technique we can reproduce any: arms, crest, image or logo onto the metal shield.

The targe is 5 inches in diameter (127 mm) made of wood with a metal rim around the outside with brass studding.  As with the targe in our highlander bust collection, the targe is covered in a clan tartan (or Leather) with a your clans crest or cloth badge affixed in the centre.
