There are three
Highlander busts available, Painted, Marble and Bronze.
Each of the three options available sit on a marble plinth. In the
case of the painted highlander, the plaid over the left shoulder
is also painted in the colours of the clan tartan and on
the base there is a plaque with the clan name.
Overall the figures, including base are some 10.5 inches tall (267
mm) and weighs 4 lbs. (1.8 kilos)
The Highlander bust figures, as
are all our castings, produced using a polyester resin and cast
using vacuum processing. The cold cast bronze and a marble version
using a dry casting white Carrara marble technique are available priced at £118.00. Due to the complexity of the
painting, the painted busts are more expensive than the
marble or bronze ones.
As with all our figures, each piece is custom made to order. They
are individually cast by skilled craftsmen, hand finished and
where applicable, hand painted by talented artists using a variety
of techniques.
